Combining pens with pottery, and making food times fun.
After studying graphic design at Central Saint Martin's, Laura worked as an illustrator and collaborator, making lively artwork for use in installations, exhibitions and print. Previous clients include: Marmalade magazine, Margaret Communications London and The Believer magazine. Her playful products, Talking Sticks, have been stocked with Darkroom, Anthropologie, and a range of beautiful independent shops.
She left the excitement of London to prance around in the wild and wonderful reaches of the East Sussex coast, and it was here that she began a love affair with pottery.
Drawing on traditional pen and ink techniques, her characterful drawings can now be found shimmying across fine bone china plates.
The plates add an unexpected, entertaining element to eating, connecting a sense of play with a love of food.
